Hi there, This is a beautifully draped and elegant wedding gown from Casablanca. The back is a show stopper! It is low, elegantly cut and has delicate buttons. You feel like Princess Grace. This style, the 1959, has been in Casablanca's top ten most popular styles for 4 years. It only came in white and ivory and I had it customized to champagne color (just slightly darker than ivory). It has a pleated bodice and gentle pick ups. It is gorgeous!
It is a size 12 (approximate street size 8). The fabric was "sleek satin" and I had it customized in taffeta. Also...just for fun I had a layer of brown tulle / toole added underneath that shows when you lift the dress up and inside there are turquoise tie ups for the bustle. These can easily be removed.
It has been professionally dry-cleaned and is in perfect condition. The dress wasn't outdoors at all (even for photos) so there wasn't much for the cleaners to clean anyway!
I paid a total of $1880. $1200 for the dress + plus $600 for the bustle, cups, petticoat and other additions. Ivory sash (slightly lighter than dress) included and I will also send the two Venovia flowers (ivory). It was a total of $1880 and I'm asking for $450 which is a great deal!
